Our 2030 Sustainability Strategy
We have both a responsibility and an opportunity to manage our business in an environmentally and socially responsible manner. Our approach to sustainability is focused on three key pillars where British Land can create the most benefit: Greener Spaces, Thriving Places and Responsible Choices.

We’re decarbonising our portfolio and enhancing climate resilience to create places where people, businesses and nature flourish. Our ambitious 2030 targets include reducing embodied carbon intensity by 50% and reducing operational carbon intensity by 75% versus 2019.
