Vagabond, Bar Kroketa and Velvet Tacos arriving at the campus, with Comptoir Libanais and Franco Manca extending their commitment

British Land has agreed five food & beverage (‘F&B’) deals representing over 15,000 sq ft of letting activity at Broadgate.

Vagabond, the unique and quirky wine bar, will open in Broadgate Central, which spans the ground and lower ground floors of 1 Broadgate and 100 Liverpool Street, linking Liverpool Street station to Finsbury Avenue Square with 120,000 sq ft of retail and hospitality space.

Bar Kroketa, the buzzy, Northern Spanish-inspired bar and restaurant, has recently opened and Velvet Tacos, the cult favourite US taco brand offering a variety of globally inspired tacos, are taking space in Broadgate Circle, joining Lebanese restaurant Comptoir Libanais and Neapolitan pizzeria Franco Manca which have each re-signed for another 10 years following a decade of thriving trade at the campus.

The lettings are a further example of ongoing leasing momentum at Broadgate: in February British Land announced that it had delivered c.200,000 sq ft of office leasing activity since the start of the calendar year and secured a number of high-profile fashion brands at Broadgate Central including Ralph Lauren, Mango, Luca Faloni, Hobbs and Whistles.

The addition of these three new restaurant operators complements the campus’s diverse and growing occupier base and reinforces its status as a seven-day destination. Broadgate boasts 289,000 sq ft of premier retail, hospitality, and leisure space, and the new arrivals join an already strong roster including Eataly, Los Mochis London City, Everyman, Monica Vinader, Tommy Hilfiger and Space NK.

Alice Keown, Leasing Director for Restaurants and Leisure at British Land, said: “Broadgate has become a hub for a broad range of restaurant brands to expand or establish themselves, creating a diverse F&B offer from grab and go options to fine dining. These latest lettings are a further illustration of Broadgate’s enduring appeal, not only for workers during the week but also for visitors as a premier seven day retail and leisure destination.”

Broadgate consistently attracts high footfall of over 29 million visitors a year, with retailers seeing a 4.6% increase in sales year-on-year.
