Waterfields Retail Park

Location

Watford is Hertfordshire’s principal town and is located approximately 17 miles north west of London, seven miles east of Hemel Hempstead and seven miles south west of St Albans.

Waterfields Shopping Park is situated within the principal out-of-town retail warehouse location in Watford approximately 0.5 miles to the south east of Watford town centre. The park is accessed from Waterfields Way, which is dual carriageway and links Lower High Street with the A4008, which provides direct access to Junction 5 of the M1 motorway.

The park is linked by pedestrian steps to a Tesco superstore, which has been extended and rebranded to the Tesco Extra format, trading 24 hours a day.

Colne Valley Retail Park, which is also owned by Hercules is situated in close proximity.

Description

Waterfields Retail Park was completed in November 1999 with a bulky goods consent. HUT purchased the vacant site in 2001 and subsequently gained consent for an Open A1 use in 6 retail units.
