Location 

Harlow is located approximately 23 miles north east of Central London and 35 miles south of Cambridge. The scheme lies approximately two miles to the north east of the town centre on the northern side of Edinburgh way (A414). The retail park has substantial frontage to Edinburgh Way, which connects the north of the town to Junctions 7 and 8 of the M11. The scheme is situated opposite Howard Way.

Description 

The Queensgate Centre was developed in 1989 and comprises two elements. The eastern element comprises nine units, including a UGC Cinema, laid out in a ‘U’ shape facing Edinburgh Way. This section has recently undergone a major refurbishment with new entrance features and overcladding, a reconfigured car parking layout and improved estate lighting. The western section comprises two units also fronting Edinburgh Way. There are also two restaurants and a drive thru restaurant all located opposite the main retail units. New flagpole and totem signage alongside Edinburgh Way was installed in mid 2007.

Accommodation 

The total gross internal area is 225,454 sq ft (20,945 sq m). The retail unit sizes range from 5,308 sq ft (493 sq m) to 40,057 sq ft (3,721 sq m). There are 842 car spaces providing a ratio of 1:268 sq ft (1:25 sq m).

Currys, Homebase, PC World, Land of Leather, Laura Ashley, Sports World, SCS Upholstery, Toys 'R' Us , UGC Cinema, Mothercare, Brantano, Pizza Hut and Burger King.  Easy Living opened a new 10,000 sq ft (1,003 sq m) unit in October 2007.

Recent new signings include Costa, Sony Centre and Subway who will be opening new units created out of the former Ortega circa September 2008.
