Location

Parkgate Shopping Park lies approximately one mile to the north of Rotherham town centre on the A633 and benefits from excellent road communications. The A633 links the park to Junction 34 of the M1 which lies four miles to the west, and Junction 1 of the M18, six miles to the east.

Rotherham has a catchment population of circa 814,872 within a 20 minutes drivetime and circa 1,595,923 within 30 minutes.

Description

The scheme is one of the largest in the UK and has recently been updated with new cladding and entrance features.

Parkgate forms part of a larger site, the remainder of which is in the ownership of Stadium Group.

The shopping park extends to 561,242 sq ft of accommodation principally developed in the late 1980’s. There are a total of 34 retail units, a 95,000 sq ft (8,826 sq m) Morrisons foodstore and 2 restaurants. There are 1,957 car parking spaces providing a ratio of 1:287 sq ft (1:27 sq m).

New openings by July 2008 include Subway, Costa, Greggs and Phones 4U.
