Board of Directors

The Board of The British Land Company PLC  is responsible for the strategy and effective control of the Group.

Group Management

The executive directors are members of the Executive Committee , which deals with the ongoing management of the Group.

The British Land Corporation Limited is the principal management and operating company of the Group.

Honorary President

Sir John Ritblat stepped down as chairman of The British Land Company PLC on December 31, 2006. In recognition of his contribution to the company - which spanned 36 years - the Board elected Sir John as Honorary President upon his retirement.
