Location

Liverpool is a major urban administrative and commercial centre in the north west, situated to the north of the River Mersey, approximately 30 miles west of Manchester.

The New Mersey Retail Park is situated approximately five miles south east of the City centre in an area known as Speke. It is in a highly prominent position fronting the A561 (Speke Road), which is the major route leading from the south (including the towns of Widnes and Runcorn) to the City centre. This location is easily accessible from Junction 6 of the M62 and Junction 1 of the M57 via the A5300, which is approximately three miles north east of the shopping park. The M62 provides direct access to the M6.

Description

New Mersey Shopping Park was developed in 1999/2000 with a number of later significant additions to create four terraces around a central car parking area.

There are currently a total of 31 units on the park and two restaurant units and three ATM machines.

Accommodation

Total gross internal floor area of the shopping park is 472,605 sq ft and includes a 104,340 sq ft (9,693 sq m) B&Q with garden centre and builders yard. Other units range from 2,000 sq ft (186 sq m) to 36,762 sq ft (3,415 sq m). There are approximately 1,934 car parking spaces providing a ratio of 1:244 sq ft.
