201 Bishopsgate and The Broadgate Tower, by architects Skidmore Owings & Merrill, provides 800,000 sq ft of office accommodation, designed to meet the needs of both financial and professional occupiers. Both buildings are now complete and are in the fit out stage.
The development continues to attract strong occupier interest. 48% of The Broadgate Tower is let to Reed Smith and Regus with a further 63,000 sq ft (16%) recently placed under offer. 88% of 201 Bishopsgate is now let to Henderson Global Investors, LBBW and Mayer Brown.
In addition to the two buildings, which form the next phase of Broadgate, significant investment has been made in landscaping the surrounding area, including the large open plaza to the front of The Broadgate Tower, and the galleria, which will be the location for shops, bars and restaurants that runs between the two buildings.
The buildings represent the largest speculative office development ever undertaken in the City of London.
