The Corporate Responsibility Committee
The Corporate Responsibility Committee, consisting of heads of departments and senior representatives, takes direct responsibility for objectives and targets. This Committee sets the Corporate Responsibility Policy for British Land and our subsidiaries and oversees a number of working groups.
Each working group is established by the Committee to focus on a key topic. They often consist of people from different departments and properties, as well as external stakeholders such as occupiers and suppliers. Since 2004 these groups have explored issues such as risk and responsibility within the supply chain, community involvement, volunteering, the implications of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive and environmental issues at Broadgate.
