| Pilot implementation of the Waste Management Plan at Teesside Shopping Park and Queensmere and Observatory Shopping Centres, Slough | At Teesside a review was undertaken to establish the current waste management arrangements of occupiers and identify opportunities to implement the Waste Management Plan. The results of the review will be discussed with the management and an action plan implemented in 2007. At Queensmere Observatory the management team reviewed waste management facilities, including space requirements, services and equipment and developed a plan to improve current arrangements and recycling facilities. |

| Review waste paper at British Land’s multi-let buildings, managed by Broadgate Estates, plus the single let buildings of UBS and Henderson Global Investors with a view to segregating waste paper at the site | Review carried out of paper recycling contractors working in the City. One of the Heads of Asset Management wrote to all occupiers at Broadgate, offering to work with them to identify ways to increase recycling of paper, secure the best rates and improve the accuracy of waste data to monitor progress. | |
