Managers of poor energy performing properties to identify root cause, improvement opportunities and targets Poor performing properties were identified. Checks carried out of data accuracy, appropriateness of the benchmark for the site and whether the property was in fact a poor energy user. Seven properties were then selected for an energy survey. Improvement recommendations will be taken forward during 2007.

Identify carbon emissions related to buildings at Broadgate and work with occupiers to set targets for reducing carbon emissions Members of the Broadgate Environmental Working Group identified carbon emissions relating to their buildings, adopted a Carbon Emission Reduction Charter and continue to review ways of reducing carbon emissions. The Working Group members occupy more than 60% of the office space at Broadgate.

To promote the use of sustainable transport
British Land to review an existing Transport Plan from one property Regent’s Place Travel Plan reviewed. Two new Travel Plans developed for the Osnaburgh Street development in Regent’s Place; one for the residential element and the other for the office and retail element.
