Use your expertise to finance some of the UK’s most high-profile developments.

This is a place where finance has impact.

Your analysis won’t be confined to the abstract here. Instead it will form the basis for some of the UK’s most high-profile and ambitious developments. Our work is measured on performance, so we need a robust team to monitor our positions, prepare our financial statements and communicate results to investors.

For you, it’s a chance to experience the best of both worlds: the scale of a major company with the support of a close-knit team. We’re a FTSE 100 company with approximately 250 employees. For one thing, this will mean your achievements will be that much more visible. But it also means you’ll gain more exposure to different areas within this market-leading function.

Financial planning and analysis

This is your chance to join a top-flight team. We’re home to a best-in-class financial reporting function, and you’ll play a big part in our continued success. We’re a small team too, so expect to enjoy greater responsibilities and higher visibility. You’ll also enjoy real variety in your work – turning your hand to a diverse range of challenges.

You’ll perform financial planning and analysis right across our business. It’s a high-profile role that will see you delivering management information and leading our forecasting process and annual budget cycle. You’ll add value through scenario planning, analysing key trends, developing KPIs and identifying opportunities. Collaborating with the strategy teams, you’ll also help to deliver our longer term strategic plan.

JV and funds reporting

Joint ventures and funds are a big part of our balance sheet. They account for around one third of our assets by value, so that’s why we have a whole team dedicated to them. Join this team, and you’ll help us produce accurate and timely financial and management reporting on all aspects of our JVs and funds – from capital funding and management accounts to quarterly and annual financial reports.

It’s a great opportunity to work on complex, high-profile transactions. We pride ourselves on offering world-class financial reporting, and you’ll be there to maintain this reputation. As a relatively small team, we can also offer you greater exposure than other environments. As well as developing your skills and experience, you’ll also have the opportunity to progress rapidly.

Finance business partners

You’ll provide financial control and oversight to our property and asset management teams. This might see you providing analysis for key decisions such as proposed investments or leasing transactions. But equally, it could see you seeking out opportunities to improve our P&L performance and drive growth. When you’re not driving key decisions, you’ll also get involved in essential budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting duties.

As finance roles go, it’s one of the most strategic and commercial around. It’s also an opportunity to work on a fascinating portfolio with a huge level of capital investment. The team environment is also highly close-knit and collaborative, which means you’ll enjoy greater exposure and more opportunities to excel.

You’ll be responsible for the tax dimension of all our activities. This might see you analysing the tax impact of a potential acquisition or handling the due diligence work on a disposal. Much of the time you’ll focus on pre and post-deal structuring and identifying potential risks or issues with transactions. However, you’ll also be there to manage our relationships with HMRC, lawyers, counterparties and advisors. It’s a great opportunity to use your tax expertise on some high-profile transactions. We’re a relatively small team, so you’ll gain exposure to all aspects of a deal and engage with stakeholders at the highest levels. You’ll also enjoy excellent opportunities for training and development. For example, we can provide support for professional qualifications such as the CTA.
